UsageFor food use as a gelling agent, thickener, and stabilizer. Gelling and stabilizing in jams, jellies, juices, compotes, cakes, custards, yogurt, curds, etc. Thickener in low concentrations in custards, ice cream, mayonnaise, and other sauces.
Prior preparation is required in three steps: Dissolve in warm water and boil vigorously while stirring until fully dissolved. Gelling occurs upon cooling and retains texture at room temperature. Very soft texture 0.8 g / 500 ml. Soft texture 1.5 g / 500 ml. Hard texture 5 g / 500 ml. Very hard texture 7 g / 500 ml. Results based on tests performed by PORTO-MUIÑOS. We recommend that each user conduct their own tests and verify their specific results.
For daily use, the recommended maximum dosage is approximately 5 grams of dried seaweed per day.
StorageStore at room temperature in a dark and dry place. Once opened, keep in an airtight container and consume before the 'best before' date indicated on the packaging.
The seaweed may contain traces of mollusks, crustaceans, and fish, and may contain small natural materials from the sea. The white color that may appear on the seaweed comes from the salt in the seaweed and provides natural preservation.
