Aceto balsamico di modena bioBalsamic vinegar is one of the most popular types of vinegar. However, not all balsamics are the same. True balsamic consists solely of wine vinegar and grape must. Even more importantly, the vinegar must be made according to the traditional Modena method. This is indicated by the label "Modena IGP". What does this mean? Our organic grapes are fermented on wood for about 60 days, and the vinegar is then aged for a minimum of 3 years. This is extra long, as only this way does balsamic achieve its authentic, rich flavor. The acidity level is 6%. This is the official standard for vinegar. A delicious flavor enhancer over your salad, (vegan) carpaccio, or grilled vegetables, or in a marinade. Intense, low in calories, and super versatile!
